Position Description

Title: Registered Nurse - Psychiatry

Location: Northeast Region (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract (13-week) | Day Shift | Mon-Fri | 09:00am-05:00pm

Compensation

Pay Range: $44.10-$63.00 Per HR

Description

Provide psychiatric nursing care in a clinical setting.

Work collaboratively with mental health professionals.

Manage and assist in crisis situations.

Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.

Ensure accurate charting and documentation.

Participate in quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patients' mental health status.

Develop and implement individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments.

Provide support and education to patients and families.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.

Qualifications

Valid New York State RN License.

Experience in psychiatric nursing.

Proficiency in crisis management and prevention.

Experience with electronic health records systems.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
