Position Overview:
PE Global Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical/Surgical Nurse Manager to work with one of the world’s leading Healthcare providers based in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, effective staff management, operational efficiency, and compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices. This role requires a strategic leader with strong clinical and administrative capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the medical/surgical nursing unit.
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care in alignment with organizational policies and best practices.
- Provide leadership, support, and professional development for nursing staff.
- Monitor and manage unit budgets, staffing, supplies, and resources efficiently.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes to drive excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Address and resolve patient, staff, or operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Lead staff recruitment, orientation, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions where necessary.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education:
- Master’s Degree
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 9 years of nursing experience post-registration
- At least 3 years of management or leadership experience in a clinical setting
- Skills and Competencies:
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making ability
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Proficiency in healthcare technology and electronic health records (EHR)
