Position Description

We’re recruiting on behalf of a dynamic, physician-led specialty practice that provides compassionate, cutting-edge care to individuals facing cancer diagnoses and complex women’s health concerns. With an emphasis on teamwork, respect, and clinical excellence, this practice offers an environment where nurses thrive.

Why This Role Stands Out:

  • Specialized Focus – You’ll become a vital member of the infusion team, assisting with a wide range of chemotherapies, performing in-office procedures, managing wound care, and supporting complex treatment navigation.
  • Individualized Training – Don’t worry if you haven’t mixed chemo before—extensive training is provided! You'll begin with foundational safety courses, then progress at your own pace under the guidance of seasoned mentors.
  • Collaborative, Rotating Team Model – Nurses rotate duties weekly, staying engaged while working to the full scope of their license.
  • Room to Grow – Interested in becoming the go-to expert in a specific area? Nurses here can develop niche specialties in Chemotherapy, Genetics, Clinical Research, or Wound Care.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Patient rooming, vitals, medication reconciliation, and documentation
  • Phone triage and clinical record review
  • Prior authorization and chart preparation
  • Post-op calls, ordering supplies, and instrumentation care
  • Assisting with procedures and in-office treatments
  • Navigation support for chemotherapy patients receiving offsite care

The nursing team rotates responsibilities weekly, giving you variety in your work and helping everyone operate at the top of their license. Not familiar with oncology or infusion? No problem — they’ll provide thorough training, including chemotherapy safety certification and mentoring with experienced nurses.

Schedule & Pay:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • $32–$36/hour to start, depending on experience

Benefits Include:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Employer-paid life insurance and wellness incentives
  • 3 weeks PTO in your first year, with the ability to accrue up to 6 weeks over time + 14 paid holidays
  • 401(k) with a 3% guaranteed contribution and historical discretionary match

Qualifications:

  • NYS RN license required
  • Oncology, Med/Surg, or OB/GYN experience strongly preferred
  • OCN certification or infusion experience is a major plus
  • The first series of the COVID-19 vaccination is required by start date.

Join a team that values your clinical skills, encourages continuous learning, and celebrates compassionate care. If you’re ready to take the next step in your nursing career, we want to hear from you!
