A large and growing in home Hospice Care in Bronx/Westchester/Brooklyn/Manhattan & Queens NY is currently seeking an experienced Hospice RN - Registered Nurse, Full time to join their team! Check out the details below:

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday 9a-5p

Pay: $54.65/hr-$68.00/hr based on experience and education

Benefits: Includes accrued vacation, sick days, holidays and free days. Pension is vested after 5 years of full or part time service. Participation in 403 (b), Voluntary benefits: Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Flex Spending, Transit Check. Free Onsite Parking.

The Hospice RN will be responsible for the following duties:

Collaborates with the Interdisciplinary team, coordinating comprehensive nursing services.
Informs the physician and other Hospice personnel of any changes in the patients condition.
Assists in the explanation of Hospice eligibility criteria and reimbursement sources.

REQUIREMENTS:

2 years experience in nursing which includes any combination of medical-surgical, oncological, palliative and community home health/hospice
Current NYS Registered Nurse license
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
