Position Description

Registered Nurse (RN) Manager – Pediatric Primary Care Clinic (Outpatient)

Location: Manhattan, NY

Salary Range: $115,000 – $125,000 per year

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

We are a well-established outpatient pediatric primary care clinic located in Manhattan. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to children and their families. We pride ourselves on our collaborative, patient-centered approach and commitment to clinical excellence.

Position Overview

The RN Manager will oversee clinical operations within the pediatric primary care setting, ensuring high standards of patient care and staff performance. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of nursing and clinical support staff, including RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, providers, and administrative staff to optimize clinical workflows and ensure continuity of care
  • Manage staffing schedules, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing training
  • Ensure compliance with New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH), OSHA standards, and clinic policies
  • Assist with patient triage and care coordination when needed
  • Monitor inventory of medical supplies and medications
  • Participate in quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety initiatives
  • Serve as a clinical leader and point of escalation for patient care concerns

Qualifications

  • Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required)
  • Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience, preferably in outpatient or primary care settings
  • Prior management or supervisory experience (Required)
  • Pediatric nursing experience (Preferred, but not required)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR); EPIC experience is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $115,000 – $130,000, based on experience
