Clinical Nurse Manager - RN - Operating Room - Full Time Day

NYP/Queens is a Level I Trauma Center were our Perioperative Services provide a full range of surgical treatments using cutting edge techniques and technologies including complex colorectal surgery, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, advanced open and endovascular surgery for aortic aneurysms and robotic urologic surgery. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure the delivery of high-quality, family-centered services to our patients. Assist with unit administration, including the management of staffing needs. Counsel staff RN's on a regular basis, providing clinical education and conducting follow-up procedures as necessary. Foster collaboration and independent thinking. Lead and round with the night staff. Mentor, coach, and implement performance and quality improvement.

This is a Full Time Day Shift (Monday - Friday 7 AM - 5PM) at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Queens.

Preferred Criteria

  • Master's degree

Required Criteria

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current NYS RN License
  • BLS from AHA
  • 2+ years of clinical experience within OR/Periop
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

$117,000-$150,500/Annual
